1st Annual Owen T. Wheeler Golf Classic raises $3,500 for BTFC!
The 2003 Owen T. Wheeler Golf Classic was held Monday, May 5, 2003, at Eagle Watch Country Club with proceeds to benefit the Brain Tumor Foundation for Children. Says Mary Campbell, executive director of BTFC, "The Brain Tumor Foundation for Children is very grateful to Christopher, Christie and all their friends and board members of the Owen T. Wheeler Foundation for this most impressive first-time effort. This was an outstanding effort on the part of Owen's family and friends. They have turned their grief into action to help others, and they have succeeded beautifully. We thank everyone at the Owen T. Wheeler Foundation for their wonderful gift."

Mission Statement
The Owen T. Wheeler Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit orgainization whose purpose is to generate a greater public awareness and level of support for childhood/pediatric cancer. The foundation promotes activities to raise funds in support of a number of charitable orgainzations dealing or associated with the research, diagnosis, treatment and care of patients with childhood/pediatric cancer and provides suport, including financial, to the families of children with childhood/pediatric cancer.
